thai Satays recipe /สูตรไทย

ingredients:

  • 500g Chicken breasts, lean pork, beef, or ham sliced thin
  • 3 Cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 Onion, minced
  • 2 tsp Minced cilantro
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 lime juice
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil.

method:

1. Thread the meet onto 12-inch bamboo skewers, placing several strips on each of the 16 skewers.  Combine the garlic, onion, cilantro, brown sugar, lime juice, nampla, and vegetable oil in a bowl. Pour over the skewers and marinate for 1 hour. 

2. Heat barbecue coals until hot, or preheat a broiler. Place the skewers on the grill or broiler rack and cook until done as desired. 

3. Serve the satays with peanut butter sauce. Makes 10-12 skewers.
